Psalter Music at SQLD and NNSW Camps

Psalter artists again had the privilege of performing at both the South Queensland and North NSW camps.

 

SQLD Camp

 

Special thanks to Mladen Krklec and the team of ‘Encounter Tent’, who are big supporters of Psalter. Kate Hollingsworth, Vintage Season, Ali & Leighton and Anna Weatherup all performed items in Encounter. Speaker Ty Gibson ably presented wonderful insights about the loving character of God.

Pastor Chris Foote accompanied Anna Weatherup in the Encounter Tent.

Thanks also to Lorraine Ferris who organised a one-hour Psalter concert at the end of Sabbath in the ‘Big Tent’. After some technical issues, Ali & Leighton kicked things off, followed by Eric and Monique, Anna Weatherup and Vintage Season. Pastor Casey Wolverton prayed for the artists and ministry of Psalter at the end of the concert.

 We always enjoy our time at SQLD, and Psalter artists had a strong presence in the ABC displays.

 NNSW Camp

We had the incredible opportunity of providing music for the ‘Connections Tent’ and for the ‘Connection Café’. HOPE channel director Jared Madden also provided set design and visuals for the tent. It was a huge privilege to be involved in directly leading out in worship; the worship teams were as follows:

Psalter artists also performed special items each night, including Sohyun Eastham who wowed the audience with her violin playing, and Leoni Gardner, who performed her unique, celtic-style of music.

The highlight would be a comment made on the final Sabbath by an experienced and gifted fellow musician, who said it was “the best music ever in Connection”. Praise God!

Big thanks to Chris Morgan for his hard work and passion in the cafe despite being a late inclusion and recovering from an operation.

Psalter producer/engineer Dale Willis makes a surprise appearance in the Connection Cafe.
